Frequently asked questions
Russian 3-NDFL tax return deadline: 30 April 2027, Friday; 1 May 2028, Monday; 30 April 2029, Monday. The date follows a rule — 30 April, moved to the next working day if it is a day off — so it is known years ahead. The counter at the top always shows the nearest date, and the “Dates by year” block below lists five years.
The counter at the top of the page shows the days, hours and minutes left until the 3-NDFL deadline and updates every second by your device’s clock. On the day itself it shows “Today”, and from the next day it counts down to the following year. Nothing needs entering: the date follows the rule.
No. The 30 April deadline applies when there is income no one withheld tax from: selling a flat before the minimum holding period, renting out a home, a prize. A return filed only to claim a deduction — for medical costs, studies or buying a home — can be filed any day within three years after the year of the expense. This is not tax advice.
The tax on a 3-NDFL return is due by 15 July of the year the return is filed: in 2027, by 15 July, a Thursday. If 15 July falls on a day off, the deadline moves to the next working day. The return itself must be filed earlier — by 30 April.
Under the counter is a “Working days until the event” line — it counts the working days until the 3-NDFL deadline by the Russian working calendar, with public holidays and moved days off. Today is not counted, and for years with no published calendar yet the count follows a plain five-day week without holidays, which is noted on the page.
Press “Add to your site” under the counter: the widget builder opens with this event. Pick the size and theme, copy the code — a single iframe tag with no scripts — and paste it into an HTML block on your site. The widget updates itself, sets no cookies, congratulates visitors on the day and then counts down to the 3-NDFL deadline the following year.
