'Neque porro quisquam est qui dolorem ipsum...'

The classic Lorem Ipsum is a scrambled excerpt from Cicero's 'De finibus bonorum et malorum' (45 BC). The word 'lorem' is a truncation of the Latin dolorem ('pain'). The meaning is intentionally lost — only the texture matters, so the reader doesn't get distracted by content.

Latin Lorem is convenient for international designs but sits poorly in Cyrillic layouts — different letter widths, missing ё, й, щ. For Russian layouts use Cyrillic 'ryba': same random words but with Russian endings and punctuation.

3 paragraphs are enough to check typography. 10–20 to test scrolling. 7 items for a mock list. 4–12 cards for an API test. Don't drown a layout in text — it makes block proportions harder to judge.
