Frequently asked questions
Paste the text into the editor or open a .md file and press Download PDF — the file is built in your browser and downloads straight away, with no print dialog. The text can be selected and searched, links stay clickable, table rows never split and display equations are set as vectors. Choose paper size, margins and page numbers in the settings.
Missing glyphs mean the converter had no font for that script, so it prints empty boxes or question marks. Here the PDF embeds fonts with full Latin and Cyrillic coverage — Lora and Onest, plus Tinos, a Times New Roman substitute, for the academic layout — so accented and non-Latin text looks as it does in the editor and copies out cleanly.
Yes. Tables keep their column alignment and their rows never split across pages. Code blocks are set in a monospaced font, and syntax highlighting is a switch that stays off by default because it prints better in black and white. Display equations are set as vectors like a textbook, inline ones as text with sub- and superscripts, and footnotes go at the end.
Under the PDF settings pick A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape, normal or narrow margins and tick Page numbers — they go at the bottom centre of every page in any browser, because the PDF is assembled here rather than printed. A heading is never left as the last line of a page, and table rows never split between pages.
No. The file opens right in your browser and the PDF layout runs on your computer; the fonts and the library come from our site only when you press the button. That makes it safe for internal memos, lecture notes and draft contracts. The draft is kept only in this browser and is never written into the page address.
Press Download PDF and the file lands in your downloads: on an iPhone open it from Files or the download icon in Safari, on Android from the notification or the Downloads folder. To open a .md file from your phone, use the Open .md button. If the download fails, there is a fallback link to the browser print dialog.
