Chatbots answer in Markdown, so pasting into Word leaves asterisks, hashes and tables made of pipes. Paste the answer here and get a clean Word document with headings, tables and equations. Source markers and “Copy code” lines are removed for you.

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other chatbots write answers in Markdown: two asterisks mean bold, a hash means a heading and pipes draw a table. The chat window renders that as formatting, but copying into Word often carries the raw markup instead, and Word prints the symbols as they are. Paste the answer here and the markup becomes real Word formatting.
Use the copy button under the message in the chat — that gives clean Markdown — paste it into the box and press Download Word. Tables become real Word tables with borders and a header row, and the column alignment is kept. Headings get Word styles, lists get numbering, and code is set in a monospaced font on a grey background.
Chatbots write equations in LaTeX: inline between \( and \), on their own line between \[ and \]. Here they turn into native Word equations that you edit with the built-in equation editor, rather than pictures or text full of backslashes. If an equation cannot be parsed, it goes in as plain text and the report after the download tells you.
It removes source markers such as 【4†source】 and [cite: 1], the Copy code lines that selection picks up together with the language label, and runs of empty lines, which shrink to one. Ordinary links, footnotes and the contents of code blocks stay as they were. A line under the box lists what was removed, so nothing disappears silently.
Yes, for Russian universities. Choose the Russian academic layout: Times New Roman 14, 1.5 spacing, margins of 30, 15, 20 and 20 mm, a 1.25 cm indent, justified text and page numbers at the bottom. Headings turn bold and lose the final full stop. For other countries pick Standard and adjust styles in Word to your own guidelines.
No. Everything happens in your browser: the answer is sent neither to us, nor to the chatbot, nor to any other service, and the Word document is assembled on your computer. The draft stays only in this browser and never goes into the page address, so working drafts, notes and texts with personal details are safe to convert.
