Parents’ Saturdays in 2026: 13 February (Friday), 6 March (Friday), 13 March (Friday), 20 March (Friday), 30 May (Saturday), 7 November (Saturday). Five are counted from Orthodox Easter, and Demetrius Saturday is the Saturday before 8 November. The special day of remembrance, Radonitsa, is a Tuesday, not a Saturday, so it has its own page. At the top is the countdown to the nearest one.
The counter at the top of the page shows the days, hours and minutes left until Parents’ Saturday and updates every second by your device’s clock. On the day itself it shows “Today”, and from the next day it counts down to the following year. Nothing needs entering: the date follows the rule.
No, Parents’ Saturdays is not a day off: it is not on the list of public holidays in Article 112 of the Russian Labour Code. If the date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it is an ordinary weekend, but no day off is moved to Monday. Days off and moved days for the whole year are in the working calendar.

Under the counter is a “Working days until the event” line — it counts the working days until Parents’ Saturday by the Russian working calendar, with public holidays and moved days off. Today is not counted, and for years with no published calendar yet the count follows a plain five-day week without holidays, which is noted on the page.
